About

I am a researcher in consumer behavior, specifically consumer decision making, at STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Indonesia.  It is a business school that owned by Indonesian Banks Association.  In 2004, I got my master degree from School of Graduate Studies in Management, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Jogjakarta, Indonesia.  In 2001, I got my bachelor degree from Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, Indonesia.

My wife is Syahrifa Yulia Nurmala Sari.  Her friends usually call her ‘Sari’, while my friends usually call me ‘Burhan’.  Sometimes, my Chinese friends and Scandinavian friends  call me ‘Han’.  You can choose the easiest one to say. We have a five-months-years-old daughter, named Aghis Rifkia.

We live in Sidoarjo, a city nearby Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.  It is a nice city since the city is clean and big trees are everywhere.   Moreover, Juanda Airport and Purabaya bus station are located here, making going to everywhere becomes easy.
